Even though I have really strong faith now, my parents never pushed it on me or my sisters. They lived the faith but didn't always talk about it and shove it down your throat. My parents were always open and honest with everything. They presented me with options like "We think that you should wait 'til you're married, but if you are going to have sex we hope it's with someone you love, and if it is, you know, we hope you use protection."
